The Electronic Materials Procurement Manager is responsible for managing the procurement of electronic materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality materials. This role involves supplier management, negotiation, and strategic sourcing to support the company’s production and R&D activities.
◎ Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for electronic materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
2. Negotiation and Contract Management
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
- Ensure favorable terms and conditions while minimizing risks.
- Manage contract renewals and compliance.
3. Inventory and Demand Management
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials.
- Forecast demand in collaboration with production and R&D teams.
- Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels.
4. Cost Management and Optimization
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality.
- Track and report on cost metrics and savings.
5. Quality Assurance
- Ensure all procured materials meet the required quality standards.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to address any quality issues.
- Conduct regular supplier audits and performance reviews.
6. Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential supply disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
7. Process Improvement
- Continuously improve procurement processes and procedures.
- Implement best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
- Leverage technology and data analytics to enhance procurement efficiency.
8. Reporting and Communication
- Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, including production, R&D, and finance teams.
- Provide regular updates on procurement activities and performance.
◎ Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of procurement experience in the electronics materials, semiconductor, or chemical industry.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electronic materials and components, supply chain management, and procurement processes.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms and conditions.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
◎ Preferred Qualifications
- Certification: Professional certifications such as CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager), CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), or equivalent.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the semiconductor and electronic materials industry.
- International Experience: Experience in managing global suppliers and international procurement.

- Type: Full-time
- Hours: 40 hours per week (flexible hours may be required depending on projects)
